May 23, 2010 - It Runs in the Family

It's been forever because my camera broke, my ankle broke, and I had to get CS3, just in case you were wondering where I've been.

With my brother's recent purchase of the Olympus ELP-1, or EPL-1? EP-L1? I don't know (even though it's lying right on the table), but this marks probably the most cameras a family of 4 can have (DSLR and Compact wise). We have now 5 cameras, 4 digital and 1 film.

However, this also probably marks the family with the most amount of cameras, but least amount of talent (i keed, i keed).

So I'm wondering, maybe photography does run in the family, may it be simple memorial pictures (which i have already blogged about, I'm just waiting to publish it), to intense, studio type photos. With the recent purchase, i think my dad just might play around with his old camera again (holy crap the body itself costed him $25,000 Hong kong, which was like 5k in Canada back in the day, or more, and then add the lenses... oh dear god...).

Nothing else new just, I'm gonna say that my ankle is not allowing me to get out of the house to take photos [me sho sad :( ], and I'll try to heal ASAP so i can start this thing again.

OH OH OH, My camera magically fixed itself (Magic of Canon Cameras, aren't u jealous you didn't buy one? that is, if you resisted the pull of canon cameras and bought another brand), so yay, awesome. But now im sad, i really wanted to have an excuse to buy the Canon 7D... oh well, i just saved $2000.

Just gonna add that both my dad and brother are TRAITORS, how dare they buy non-Canon cameras, clearly they bought them to poke fun. Also, If my brother sees this, your camera did not get damaged in the taking of this photo, don't worry.
